The Brigade was called out Friday afternoon to stop a burn escaping. Various volunteers from Rural, Coastal and Dunsborough turned up first, including Pete with the BFR pump trailer. The first truck on the scene was the Dunsborough Light Tanker, followed by Emma with our Light Tanker and John driving the 1.4. Dunsborough’s 4.4 supplied water.
The brigade spent about two hours blacking out the fire. Also in attendance were FCO Fish, Mitch, Andy, Noel, Joe, David and Tony.
On a lighter note, Caves House next Friday night (Nov. 4) from 6pm is raising money for the Brigade, with live music. Be there to show you care.
