If there are any shortfalls or defects in your PPE, please email the PPE officer (see contact information in Members Only section).

Please also consider keeping a reusable water bottle, food (eg., energy bars), spectacle case, lavatory paper, and sunscreen in your YRVBFB kitbag.

Please check the contents against this list after every fire to ensure you are fully prepared for the next call out.

Please note that there is insufficient space on our firetrucks for the kitbags. It is incumbent upon you to provide a small bag (e.g., a small backpack) in which you can store items which you may require on the fire-ground but will not necessarily be wearing all the time you are on duty. It can also be used to securely store, in the truck,  items such as helmet, gloves, smoke mask, etc., while traveling to or waiting at the Incident Control area before deployment to the fire-ground, and also your ancillary kit.
