All fires are prohibited from 1st December to 1st March. HOWEVER, depending on circumstances, these dates may be, and often are, extended, so it is ESSENTIAL to confirm the exact dates with the City of Busselton or the local Fire Control Officer (see below).

During the Restricted Season it is necessary to get a fire permit. Permits are not issued for Public Holidays.
Burning on Sundays during the Restricted Season is allowed, provided a permit has been issued.
The permit holder must be in possession of the permit during the burn. A checklist is available for download by clicking COB Fire Permit Check List.
