Just a comment that the thankyou letter also thanks families and employers of those who went to the fire. Perhaps fire fighters should pass this thanks on? The generosity of the self employeed fire fighters and effect on their family finances is never sufficiently acknowedged.-Annie Palmer

The following letter seeks feedback on the Maragaret River Fire. The deadline for comments is January 12, 2012.
Charity Cricket Match on Jan. 21
There will be a celebrity charity cricket match Saturday, January 21 on a newly created cricket pitch at the corner of Wildwood and Commonage roads. Money raised will go to support local causes including the local volunteer fire brigades. The brigade will be helping to manage gold coin parking. The pitch is part of the Rivendell property.
The event will involve a group of six-a-side cricket teams captained by sporting personalities taking each other on in a day-long round-robin event.
