There will be a celebrity charity cricket match Saturday, January 21 on a newly created cricket pitch at the corner of Wildwood and Commonage roads. Money raised will go to support local causes including the local volunteer fire brigades. The brigade will be helping to manage gold coin parking. The pitch is part of the Rivendell property.
The event will involve a group of six-a-side cricket teams captained by sporting personalities taking each other on in a day-long round-robin event.
